To build a thriving community of faith where alumni can grow spiritually, support one another, and continue the mission of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

At the CCRN OAU Alumni, our mission is to create a vibrant and enduring community of faith where alumni can grow spiritually, support one another, and actively participate in the mission of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

Throughout the year, the CCRN OAU Alumni organizes various events and gatherings to foster spiritual growth, fellowship, and community among its members. One of the highlights of our calendar is the Annual Reunion, a much-anticipated event that brings together alumni from across the globe for a time of prayer, worship, and shared experiences.

The School of Art & Science maintains an active program of exhibitions. The Architecture Gallery, located on the second floor of Ralf Samwell Hall, is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Exhibitions in 2015–2016 included:

The School supports two student-edited publications. Construct: The Smart Architectural Journal, the oldest student-edited architectural journal in the United States, is internationally respected for its contributions to contemporary discourse with original presentations of new projects as well as historical and theoretical essays.

The Design Workshop provides a forum for faculty and students from the School of Arts & Science and other professional schools at Smart to engage in the study of issues, ideas, and practical problems in the field of urban design. Since its founding in 1993, the Design Workshop has worked with communities across the state of Connecticut, providing planning and design assistance on projects ranging from comprehensive plans, economic development strategies, and community visions to the design.

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo University, Alumni Association (CCRN OAU Alumni) is a Christian community unified by a shared commitment to faith, excellence, and societal impact. We aim to establish a global network where the principles of our Renewal heritage are exemplified through the professional endeavors, personal lives, and civic contributions of our members. Our vision is to serve as a premier body for the spiritual, intellectual, and general well-being of our members. We seek to connect generations, equipping individuals to fulfill their God-given potential with integrity, purpose, and a steadfast devotion to Christ’s teachings. We aim to be an alumni association that empowers its members to address contemporary challenges with biblical wisdom and resilience.
