OCCUPY TILL I COME SERIES

“What do u see” Jer 1:11-19

*The word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, see a branch of an almond tree. Then the Lord said to me, You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it*. Jer. 1:11-12.
After the commission and call of Jeremiah: “ I chose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations…. Jer 1:5, the first thing the Lord asked him was what he saw. The Lord touched the lips of Jeremiah to speak boldly but something else happened to him. He was given a vision. The scripture says: *Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God]*. Prov. 29:18. Brethrens, it is important for us to know that Gods call upon our lives to occupy till he comes is always accompanied we a vision( a powerful drive of faith and power which we can trust). Apostle Peter was given a vision which took him out of his comfort zone in Acts 10:15 with the words: What God has made clean, you must not profane. Many have been given a vision of their place of exploits but have not tarred with it. Many Kings have becomes slaves, many have set a lower standard than what God intends for them.
Today, God calls us out of our comfort zone to return to our mission through the visions( directions, names, gifts) he has given to us. Let us not be deceived, it is only what God gives that he requires of us to use. The talents that the master gave to the servants (Luke 19) are their divine vision from God. Do not be afraid says the Lord. The best business you can do in life is the kingdom business of winning souls for Christ with whatever he gives you and commanded you to do.
What you see beloved in Christ? Everything we must know and see has been packaged in the word of God. Jer 1:12.  The word of God is like rain that waters the earth… it shall fulfill that which it has been sent to do. The Lord watches over his (word) to see that it is done. When we feed on Gods word, the Lord watches over us because we are carriers of divine destiny. That is why there must be a daily encounter with the word of God. This is the manual to occupy, to uproot and to pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant for Christ till he comes. AMEN. (Jer 1:9)
