OCCUPY TILL I COME SERIES

THE PLACE OF GRACE : 1st cor 15:10

*But by the grace of God I am what I what I am and his grace toward me was not in vain*

Recently, a man of God said and i quote, ‘ to say that grace is unmerited favour is an understatement’. Going further he said, ‘ *grace is God’s own initiative to do for man what man cannot ordinarily do* Grace is that extra push, the makes us *I AM*( *GRACE IS WHAT MAKES US gods*).

Occupying for the master will be a tedious and long work if we operate outside of his grace. The master, Jesus before going on the long journey(heaven) gave us grace to aid our work of occupying.
The question we ask ourselves today is:
Have I been doing the work of the master on my strength alone? Remember, by strength shall no man prevail. Where our strength stops, there grace starts operating. Thus, a servant who operates without grace is not as productive as the one who submits to the grace of God. Occupying is the work of God, it is only normal and appropriate that those who occupy are like God. It takes grace to be gods.

Occupying with grace means realising how weak we are to do the work of the master and allowing the master himself work through us. The beautiful thing about grace is that it is renewed  daily. This means that we have an opportunity to do better and be more productive for God on a daily basis. *With grace, there is always a chance to start over and do better for God*.

To do the work of God, we need the grace of God which abundantly available. We only need to align ourselves to the grace of God so that God will work through us by his both to will and to do his own good pleasure.

*Prayer*
Lord, I align myself to the power of your grace that i may continue to occupy till you come. AMEN.
